Manufacturing Defects are detected by electrically accessing every trace on the PCBA.
Any short or solder splash causing a short will be detected if the test access is designed into the PCB.
All resistors can be measured to find an incorrect value or mis-placed part or an open condition.Capacitors and Diodes can be detected missing or open when solder does not connect part to the pad. Transistors and Zeners can be tested. Opens can be detected on Digital IC's before Power is used on the PCBA. Power can be applied to the board under test and IC's can be tested.
Include the following files with your RFQ:
Schematic in .pdf or .dxf format.
Gerber files in a .zip format.
Assembly Drawing in .pdf or .dxf.
Netlist file like IPC-D-356A format.
Cad output file in ASCII format.
Digital photos of PCBA sample.
